Keychain and manually entering old passwords

I have an iPhone 7 plus, software 12.4.   I have about 200 assorted usernames and passwords basically on a piece of paper. I use google Chrome and “just” google for search engines. I am trying to set up the keychain autofill. Keychain is turned on. In website and app passwords I have entered the website, username, password...off of the long list. When I go to one of these (“old”) sites on chrome or google regular Keychain is not autofilling anything.   I have been unable to find any info on this.

Keychain and Autofill are designed to work in Safari, not third party browsers. That doesn’t mean that those browsers don’t have means to allow you to save usernames and passwords, but Keychain autofill works with Safari. You can access the passwords in the settings when you enter a username in another browser, but it doesn’t autofill automatically.
