2019 MacBook Air setup stall

I just purchased a new MacBook Air and completed the first few setup steps, but when I went to enter my Apple ID and password it stalled. It has been a spinning circle for hours.

Is there a way to start over? Any ideas on what to do next? The “back” and “continue” links do not work and there is no power button.

Brand new MacBook Pro Stuck on Setup Setup is stuck on "Reticulating splines..". I left it overnight and no change. I did a hard reset on the laptop and I get the beginning of the desktop and then back to the same stuck on setup. I tried to the following method as well, but same behaviour: First of all, power off the machine. Once you have powered off the machine, plug the Mac into a power source. With that done, press and hold the Shift + Control + Option keys simultaneously. While you are holding these three keys, press and then release the power button of your Mac. Once done, you can now release the Shift + Control + Option keys. After that, you can power on your Mac again to see if the problem has resolved. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Reset Macbook air purchased Christmas 2018 for my daughter. Has had multiple glitches and I thought I would factory reset. We are about 4hrs from the nearest Apple store. When I try to reinstall macOS from macOS Recover, I get a spinning globe and the progress bar does not move beyond a few millimetres. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.
