Apple ID account
When I’m trying to update my apps it keeps asking for my ex partners apple account password instead of mine. He originally purchased but I’ve changed it over to me months ago.

Content from one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
It's forever tied to the Apple ID used to download them.
You have to delete those apps and re-download them using your own Apple ID.
