IPhone X camera shakes

I have a black 256 mb iPhone X. The camera recently started shaking extremely bad when trying to take a photo. I have discovered that this is a popular on going issue with this phone. I have seen hundreds of threads on this issue specifically. It is an issue with the optical stabilization device that is used on the phone. Now my issue is I have had my device for 18 months now. So it is no longer covered on the warranty for the phone. Apple says only thing I can do is pay out of pocket which is estimated to be near $600 to replace the optical stabilization portion of the phone. (Which looking at others’ solutions, there isn’t much of a solution except for Purchasing a new phone. Others have reported having their phone fixed repeatedly by Apple and in the end having to get their phone replaced.) What I don’t understand is why did I pay over $1300 for a phone that has a known faulty issue and yet Apple will not address it? Why on earth would I pay $600 out of pocket to have the issue reoccur? That is half of the cost of the phone itself! Can’t Apple acknowledge this issue and allow these phones to be fixed!? Considering it is caused by poor manufacturing...

Unfortunately it looks as though Apple is going to be losing my family’s business. As we all have the same phone and it will be cheaper to pay off our remaining balance through our carrier and purchase different phones 😔 I absolutely despise Samsung devices (I have owned every single IPhone) and I know that is what my family will choose to switch to. I am very disappointed in Apple! They should stand behind their product, and fix flaws!

Seriously, just google the issue or you tube it. So many people complaining of the same problem!!!

Their are many iPhone tripods on the worlds market today to prevent it from shaking. From $5.00 to $80.00 depending on what you want and always read the reviews too and be sure if you don't like it you can return it and get your money back within a time period, but you might have to pay for shipping cost. So read the fine print and instruction booklet that comes with the iPhone tripod.

Thanks for the advice but it has nothing to do with the phone itself shaking. It’s the faulty hardware itself within the phone. Here it a link to someone who has a similar issue to better explain it https://youtu.be/mVU614YenRQ except my phone does not shake in video mode. It only shakes in photo mode. It is so bad that I am no longer able to take pictures with my phone.
