I transferred some pictures and videos from my iPhone to my Windows 10 computer but now some of them are corrupt and unreadable because their size on disk is 0 and their size became over 2.60 GB each. I don't know how to restore them and I need help!
Are your original photos still on your iPhone? If that's the case then you might see if you can find someone with a Mac or another PC (even a Chromebook) to see if maybe that works better. On a Mac the photos can be grabbed using Image Capture.
That sounds more like an issue with Windows 10. Possibly some corruption in the directory info. If you really need it then you might need to contact a data recovery specialist.
There are many different ways it might get corrupted. I'm not an expert. If it were valuable enough for me, I would just go to a professional. If I were to guess, at least some of the files are still intact, but the more you access the drive the more likely something is going to be overwritten. Also - an SSD will be different than a hard drive in terms of how to recover.
