Quicklook and Preview displaying RAW as lines

I have many .CR2 files that are imported from Canon EOS 70D. Currently the thumbnail previews are fine. However, the previews in finder are displayed as lines. Use quicklook also shows lines as the image. I can import them in Photos and they look okay. However, 10 secs later the photos change to lines again. I can see them correctly displaying in Lightroom. I am using a late 2009 iMac with Mojave 10.14.6. Thank you

FWIW, a Late 2009 iMac does not natively support Mojave. My guess is that is your issue. CR2 files from a Canon EOS 70D display just fine on my Late 2015 5k iMac.
