Gray boxes instead of movie/TV/music graphics in iTunes

I was having a problem with the graphics properly showing in iTunes. I tried changing the scaling of my screen and when I did change it to 100% the images appeared, but being in my fifties I found the font size harder to read. I happened upon an easy solution: I deselected the option for Windows to correct images. Easy!

Steps

  1. Go to Windows settings
  2. Select System
  3. Display settings should be the default page to open, but if it isn't then change it to Display
  4. Select Advanced Scaling Settings
  5. Turn off Let Windows try to fix images so they aren't blurry

That did it for me. So far I haven't had problems with the appearance of apps, but we'll see if this remains true over time.
