That is incorrect. There were in fact two 2018 MacBook Pros. A MacBookPro15,2 with a 13" screen and a MacBookPro15,1 or 15.3 with a 15" screen. Both were shipped with High Sierra 10.13.6.
There is a 2019 MacBookPro15,2 13" and a 2019 MacBookPro15,1 and 15,3 15". Both ship with Mojave.

The last MacBook before Apple Discontinued it was 2017.
