As far as advice, make a Genius Bar appointment and do an out-of-warranty replacement of your iPhone.

An IP67 or IP68 rating is not a measure of water proof. They are engineering standards for resistance to water and use ingress and are not a guarantee that exposure to water won’t cause damage.
No. No iPhone is waterproof.
