Macbook air battery issues

My Macbook air started to shut down on me randomly with or without it being on charge. It mostly turned off when it wasn't on charge. Now all of a sudden the fans are heavily going even when the lid is shut. My battery icon will not show up on the menu bar, even though I have tried to put it on several times. I have tried to reset the SMC and it has not worked. Any suggestions?

I have tried factory resetting my whole entire laptop, too
