How do I STOP music automatically playing via bluetooth in my vehicle once I started it? This is obnoxious and very annoying. I have a iphone x ios 12.4

I mis-spoke, music doesn't start the instant I start my Ram truck. Music DID start playing the instant I started my Chevy truck.
In the Ram, the instant I try to Bluetooth Youtube thru the truck audio system, random music from my library starts playing. How do I prevent this from happening? I end up forcing the music app closed, and then try to access Youtube and most of the time Youtube wins and begins playing thru my truck speakers. However, on random occasions, I have to force music to close repeatedly prior to Youtube ultimately winning and begins to play.
