Norton or Not

I have had MAJOR issues with security on my apple products. I am a NEW apple user. I have called and called and every representative is confused as to why my information is being breached. I purchased Lifelock. What are your thoughts?

It is possible that your Apple ID has been hacked. Norton products can't help you with that (and they are the worst thing you can put on your Mac)

Lifelock seems to make a habit of exposing customers' data.

You wasted your money on Lifelock, that's for sure. Norton is one of the worst possible pieces of junk you could install on a Mac. All - and I do mean all - AV software is 100% useless. There no Mac viruses. None. Period. There's nothing for them to find.

There are plenty of Trojans, which is any type of malware YOU must install in some manner. Pay attention to where you're obtaining your software from, and you should never see any.

Beyond all that, what kind of "MAJOR" issues are you referring to. Vagaries don't tell your fellow users much of anything.

And what representative are you talking about?

Apple representatives and my passwords have been stolen. It all happened when I went from an android and decided to purchase an iphone 8 plus. I had to close a social media account, amazon account, and last someone added their name as a user on a major credit card. I called to see if there were some setting I should use on my phone and laptop. As soon as I started saving passwords in keychain the hacking started.
