macOS Mojave 10.14.6 News Print Features dropdown

The latest Mojave update changed the Print Dialogue box, and added a "Print Features" option. Does Apple have any guidance on how to set these?

Print Dialog->PDF->Open in Preview doesn't work I am printing from a Java application on Monterey M2 MacBook Air. I get to the print dialog and select PDF->Open in Preview because I want to preview the page before killing a piece of paper. But, instead of going to the Preview app, it just prints the page. Printing with Selected Page in Sidebar option not working(?) Hello, I have been trying to print something that I have typically had no issue printing in previous versions of MacOS. It is a three paged PDF. When I print it, I only need to print page 1 and 3. Typically, the printing options screen that open up immediately before I hit the print button would allow me to either print All pages, Selected Page in Sidebar or From where you designate from what page number to what page number you want to print. When selecting the Selected page in Sidebar option, you would normally be able to toggle through the pages in a document with right and left buttons that appear immediately above the preview of the image of what you will be printing. As it is now, when I select the option to print with Selected Page in Sidebar, I can no longer toggle to the selected page I want to print. Pleas help.

right click print option On my old Mac, I could click drag & release to select text from an internet page, then right click the selected text and see an option to print specifically what was highlighted. On my new Mac, there is no such option. I figured out how to right click, but I can't print the selected text. I could still choose to print the image of the webpage, but all I want is the selected text. Please tell me Apple didn't take away the option altogether.

The appearance of that box is highly dependent on your particular printer. Mine looks completely different. In your case, I believe "Printer Features" is what cause the ten rows below that row (in the rectangle) to appear.

I guess it’s under Authentication Settings.

The answer depends completely on your specific printer.

In printer features, there's User Authentication, but where to input the user name and password?
