After awake from a sleep mode my iMac 2013 (Mojave 10.14.6) turn that grey screen on and that loading bar (red arrow). After the loading bar will fill up the screen turn black and when after 3-5 seconds the system will loads normally.
Before that happens I usually wake my mac up and it's mostly instant awake and ready to go but now I see this grey screen every time after awakening.
What this screen and loading bar is?
I am not sure what this is.
I propose to do this:
shutdown the mac when this happens, by holding the power key.
Then start the mac while holding the Shift key (you can let go when you see the progress bar moving), it is a slow start, when started login. After that you can shutdown/restart from the Apple menu.
This will clear a large number of caches.
