Help! Apple TV doesn't see Homes Sharing Folder

I have set up a folder with photos to share. It used to work fine but after Resetting my Apple TV, I don't see that folder when I go into iTunes from Apple TV. It only shows Photos which shows everything in my Photo library.


I have the correct account connected from that Apple TV (Settings/Accounts). I've gone to Setting/General/Screen Sharing/Home Sharing and connected to the correct shared account.


I have signed out and back in on the computer and Apple TV. The computer has iTunes open. I have rebooted computer and Apple TV.


What am I missing?

Thanks. Although there is a connection in Computers, there is also one in Setting/General/Screen Saver and that was what I was looking for. It turns out they both connect to an iTunes based interface that show Music, Movies and Photos. It turns out that what is listed as "Photos" under the "Photos" menu is whatever folder you have chosen as the Home Sharing folder from within iTunes on the computer.


Seems kind of confusing but it seems to be working as expected.

Homeshared photos can be seen from the computers app on the Apple Tv not from iTunes (indeed there isn't an iTunes app on the Apple TV)


If you've been looking in the Computers app and still don't see them, check in iTunes on your computer that you still have the folder selected.


If everything looks ok, try disabling and re-enabling homesharing.
