Sparseimage folder

Hi all. I have created a Sparse Image folder it is password protected and it is stored in my iCloud Drive. While I can see it, open or edit it on my iMac my iPhone (8 Plus latest iOS) can see the image but I cannot open it to see the contents. Is there a way to open the Image File on my iPhone?

Photos are now HEIC files The photos I take on my iPhone, when shown in my iCloud folder on my PC are now HEIC files (the older photos are still jpg). How can I get my iPhone to save the photos ad jpg files? thanks - dave

Problems transferring photos onto an idiskk flash drive Hi I’m trying to create some space on my iPhone by putting photos onto a idiskk flash drive I did create a folder on the flash drive and moved some photos to it, I can’t see the photos so I’m thinking I need to format it but the flash drive says formatting will erase all data on the device, what does that mean ? Such files are incompatible with iOS.
