If they are in the glass, you likely can't get rid of them. You might want to consider putting a screen protector on the iPad, which will prevent any new scratches and will also likely mask the ones you already have.

A scratch on the screen would not be a warranty issue as it's considered accidental damage. If it bothers you enough and you don't have AppleCare on your iPad (which would have provided up to 2 replacements for $49 each over 2 years), your only other option is to get an out of warranty replacement at about 60% of the cost of the iPad when it was new.

It's not likely worth the expense to do that for a scratch on your screen.

Look,

If the scratches are that deep, there is NOTHING on the market that can fix these.

Either live with the scratch/es or, if you iPad Pro has extended, two-year AppleCare+, get a replacement iPad for the $49 replacement fee.

If no AppleCare+, then a replacement iPad will cost you an out of warranty cost of 60% of the iPad Pro's original price.

I would NOT recommend any screen replacement from any non-Apple authorised repair center as if something goes wrong with the repair, more than likely, you forfeit any help here or any help from Apple/Apple stores.

Apple will no longer assume any responsibility for that iPad after any DIY or third party repair.

yes, i have checked a lot of products and many tutorials on the web. some procedures are even dangerous to the device. most follow the idea of polishing scratches out which does only work on superficial ones.

what i am still hoping for is something to fill the scratch with. almost anything would do, as long as it sticks (which so far nothing did, not even superglue). the scratches themselves are not really visible, it's the colourful refractions of light at their sharp edges what is disturbing. preventing these would solve the problem ...

i mean - gorilla 'glass' is not crystalline glass, but just another sort of plastic. i am sure there is something out there ...

but in the apple universe, replacing is the only accepted idea. if it does not work, use your apple care and have it replaced. not repaired, replaced. not a sustainable idea at all.

Scratches in glass are scratches in glass.

If they are too deep to polish out, then they are simply too deep.

Like I stated, either live with scratches or IF you have AppleCare+, use it!

That is what you paid AppleCare+ for.

You get two accident caused device replacements ( one per year ) no matter what is wrong with the iPad for a replacement device fee of $49 U.S.D..

So, you can avail yourself of using one replacement incident if you haven't used any of the accident replacement incidents under AppleCare+, yet!
