Updating payment details for iCloud

Apple asking for update but when trying am told to verify the now defunct card - when trying to remove it it refuses to do so, saying “Family organiser requires at least one payment on file”!

When I try adding a new card, I get “One or more of your payment methods require verification.”

Stuck, help please??

Cannot verify or remove card payment info I have hit against an unusual problem, due to an iCloud payment being declined. I have contacted my bank who confirm it is a merchant technical issue, my credit card is otherwise working fine. How to update Apple ID payment method? I got a message my Apple account could not be used to pay my cloud storage 50MB subscription. I tried to follow the instructions to update/change the credit card that has been replaced because of a possible fraud event, but cannot get to a place to delete the old card and replace it with the new one. I can see the old card in the Apple Account but nothing else. Quincy M. [Edited by Moderator]

Can’t update payment details My card has recently expired, but I can’t add a new payment method. it is asking me to verify my old card (which obviously doesn’t work). It is also not letting me delete my old card and add a new one. I have cancelled all subscriptions to see if that helps but no luck. Any help would be great.
