viewing smart mailboxes on iphone 7p
the only smart mailbox that i can view on phone is the "today" mailbox.
can't seem to figure out how to view the rest of the smart mailboxes on iphone.

Where did you create these "smart mailboxes"?
If you have smart mailboxes in the mail client on your computer, those are local to the desktop client. They're just search queries, they are not actual folders or mailboxes. You won't see them on any mobile client.
