How to fix macbook pro windows bootcamp (boot camp) apple mouse bluetooth not working

I've spent a LOT of time on this, trying many, many methods posted by others. The final fix for me may be a combination of things, but this is the final step I took and hopefully this will work for you.

My magic mouse and another random Bluetooth mouse was able to connect while on Windows bootup using boot camp. But after a couple minutes, it would always stop working. Same with apple magic keyboard. The Bluetooth display even showed the devices as connected, but they would just not work!

Finally I set this config in Device Manager.

Device Manager -> Bluetooth -> Bluetooth Radio

Click Ok. I actually think my mouse reconnected by itself after a few seconds!

Here is another settings I changed so the device will not turn off. I'm not sure if this was necessary; I had switched this one before the above step, so just in case you may want to uncheck this here in Device Manager:

If your mouse has not reconnected by itself by now, time to turn the Bluetooth off/on again. I found this shortcut to turning Bluetooth on/off:

Click the Notifications panel and you will see a Bluetooth panel in the bottom (I do). Or you can open Bluetooth settings another way, but point is: turn Bluetooth off and on again. Click your mouse a couple times, wait a few seconds, and hopefully you will be back in business without your Bluetooth device freezing up again!
