No ethernet option Macbook Pro 2019

I have a dock that allows me to connect an ethernet to my Macbook, however, when I go to add it in network, Ethernet is not an option on the dropdown after selecting (+) to add new.

Any ideas?

Have you tried the Apple Thunderbolt to Ethernet Adapter? I have no idea if a dock would be able to establish a connection. How are you connecting the dock to the Macbook?

I figured it out. Apparently it was just coming as USB 3.0 Display. It was connecting through the dock via USB-C. Once I turned off wifi it it kicked right in.

My dock dongle shows up as USB 10/100/1000 LAN, not Ethernet.
