Canon MP640 with Mojave?

I tried this thread:

The printer prints. But... the photos are washed out, too bright and the colours are ruined. The "Printer features" submenu doesn't seem to do anything and I cannot find any settings to return the colours to the way they way. Massively disappointed and I will have to buy a new printer. Has anyone else managed to get this printer to work with Mojave?

Canon quit making printer drivers for the PIXMA MP640 after OS X El Capitan. There were no driver updates released for High Sierra, or Mojave.

About all you can do is Reset your Print System, and if that does not resolve your MP640 issues, then I would think long and hard on investing in Canon again. Perhaps Brother has something, but as always, check the cost of replacement toner, and driver support before pulling the purchase trigger.
