Konica Minolta 4690MF Catalina?

Konica Minolta has announced that they will not be updating the driver for their 4690MF to work with Catalina. Is there another source of generic drivers that one could try to see if the printer can still be used? I have one machine on Catalina now, and the easy workaround is just sharing the printer with another machine running Mojave. It is working, but once all the machines are on Catalina, I'll need another option.

We love the machine, but between their nonexistent tech support and this, my next machine will not be this brand.

Yes, just hold back one machine with printer sharing on Mojave until you arrive at a new printer with 64-bit driver/software support on Catalina, or later.

you realize that catalina is not a required update for all your macs right?

keeping macs on the older macOS will not pose a security risk it's not that cataline bring new features

Unfortunately, we are prohibited from discussing anything at all related to a beta OS unless there has been a public announcement from Apple as they consider betas confidential (take a look at the NDA you agreed to).

Besides, until it is released and running on people's devices, no one would know as to what may work (or not) with it.

I was thinking the same thing. I could just leave my office manager's machine and share the printer via her computer as I do now with the beta machine.
