Sharing/Synching Contact\s Between Two iPhones in the Account

My husband and I share an account and each have an iPhone. Lately, we've noticed that our contact list is not synching between devices. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Our settings seem to be similar on each phone and we've just re-synched with our iCloud account, but no joy - we each still have some entries unique to our separate iPhones.

Please check the default Contacts account in both the devices. Refer to the GIF and the write up below. View the GIF till the end. Last section of the GIF is making a default contacts account

Contacts are not stored locally on an iPhone. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

  1. How many Contacts account (email client server) you have?
  2. What is your default Contacts Account?
  3. Which email account you are using to store Contacts?

  • See the GIF below for Contacts and Default Account

  • Learn how to add an email account and make it default (Watch the GIF)
  • This example is for Gmail but the process remains same for all Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
