Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Existing credit card cancelled, but can't add a new credit card without verifying the old card.

I cancelled the credit card that I used for my Apple ID and I can't seem to add another (valid) credit card without verifying the old cancelled card. I attempted to verify the old card by inputting the CVV code, but it fails because it is not a valid card ("Your payment method was declined. Please enter valid payment method information"). I can't edit the Number field (I can change the expiry date and CVV).


It feels like I'm in an infinite loop ... haha.

Try adding the new card and removing the old one via https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage


If that also doesn't work contact iTunes Support and see if they can help you do it :  http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww  (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
