How can I trust, iCloud? Someone has been calling me saying my iCloud has been compromised, and now my iPad is asking me to set up backup with ICloud or ITunes I don’t know which ones will best.

Those calls are scams from criminals trying to steal your personal and financial information. Hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
