Airpods rintone is too loud

Hi,

I bought gen2 Airpods and I found out, that I can't adjust ringtone sound volume for airpods. Even if I put my phone (iPhone7) to silent, my Airpod sound blows my brain, driving me crazy, when phone is ringing. I've tried everything I could think of, but nothing works.

It seems that this is a known problem, but the people in Apple don't care to fix this. If I knew this, I would have postponned my purchase into future.

Does anyone know a workaround for this or does anyone know if Apple is doing something to fix this?

I have tried everything basic things, so I do not need those advices or troll answers to shut down devices or something. Let's keep this decent please.

I'm getting this with notifications. Volume is fine during a call or when listening to music, but when a notification comes in it blows my eardrums - I mean it is so loud it hurts and causes ringing in my ears. I have reset my iphone (I mean erased content and settings and restored it), but ouch - it still does it.
