USB C Type to Mini Display (Cinema) Port adapter

I have a the MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019) and tried to connect it to apple cinema display (Mini DisplayPort) to no avail. Making this task even more difficult, I live 11 months out of the year in South America where the possibilitie of finding a cable / adapter is slim to none. . . . After searching via my VPN,I came across a USB C to Mini Displayport Adapter (4K@60Hz), brand Answin USB-C/Thunderbolt https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V828R4Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ACFQN13RBBRVX&psc=1

After three fact finding calls to APPLE support looking for a solution, the general consensus is “ya maybe it will work” . . . If anyone out there has this same set up / problem, could you confirm (or not) the feasibility of this adapter working? Im trying to avoid buy a cable, shipping it to a USA address then onto South America only to find out this adapter falls into the maybe not category. Attached image of the Displays un removable cables. Note the USB cable alone provides audio - great. . .

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

That adapter should work. There is also the UPTab adapter that adds an extra USB-C port for charging.

This frees up one USB-C port on the computer.

You will also need an adapter for the display's USB cable. These are also available with an extra USB-C port for charging if you don't get the other adapter with one.

You can charge with the display's MagSafe cable with an adapter.
