My iPhone 7 home button heated up and cracked by itself

My Iphone 7 home button heated up and cracked by itself. Now the button is too hot to touch. What am I suppose to do?

My iPhone 8 Home Button is cracked and overheating i dropped it on small pile of rocks in my garage and my phone stopped working for a minute or to and the Touch ID dosnt work same as the home button and it’s over heating like crazy. Is there a way to stop the over heating? Because I can’t afford a new iPhone yet.

iPhone 7+ home button hot and cracked My phone was in my pocket, not dropped, banged or bumped. I pressed home button which was very hot and didn’t work and then noticed it was smashed, into several pieces! This must have happened from over heating, it couldn’t possibly have happened by banging it without me knowing! It had a software update the night before. Any thoughts?
