MacOS Mojave laggy animations

I just bought a brand new MBP 13” 2019 1.4Ghz 16Gb RAM.

The thing is sometimes the animations are laggy (when switching desktops) or even when I scroll on different websites on Safari and Chrome.

It’s an OS problem or hardware? Did somebody encountered this problem?

The only thing that stands out in the report was in the section, titled: Top Processes Snapshot by CPU. It indicates that "Other processes" are using 50+% of the CPU. You would need to use Activity Monitor to see what these may be. Other than that, everything looks good.

However, without Full Drive Access being enabled for EtreCheck, what we don't see is any diagnostic or kernel panic reports, if any. These would be more telling of any issues. I suggest that you do and post another report.

The "Top Processes Snapshot by CPU" section does indicate "Other processes" as the culprit, but as you can see EtreCheck was unable to determine what it is.

The good news is that there were no kernel panics or any significant diagnostics reports. FYI, the WindowServer is a core macOS process that can be thought of as a liaison between an app and the device's display.

The only thing that comes to mind is that Google Chrome is a resource hog. I would suggest completely removing it and go back to using Safari. If you just can't "live without" Chrome, may I suggest that you try Opera which is also built on the Chromium engine and is very similar to Chrome.

Another option, is to create a new user account. Log out of your existing account, and then, log back in with this new account. Try using your notebook for a few days to see if this resolves the issue. If it does, then we know it may be something amiss with your regular account. If not, then maybe a visit to your local Apple Store is in order.

I'm not aware of it needing a couple of days, but when first set up a lot of processes are going like Spotlight cataloging the hard drive, uploading to iCloud, making an initial Time Machine backup. Also, caches haven't been created which speed things up. But when there are no processor intensive processes taking place it should be fine.
