multicam clicks when switching monitor angle

I've synced my multiple angles, however when I am making my edit in my timeline and switch between viewing angles (audio angle remaining constant throughout) I get little clicks when playing it back. Is there something wrong or am I doing something incorrect? I tried to make the cut sections as a Compound Clip but it still "clicks" or "pops" whenever the viewing angle changes. Any ideas how to fix this?

After the fact the only way to fix this is to add quick cross fades at the edit points. It's common practice to either detach the audio or expand and stretch out the audio so it isn't cut when the camera angles are switched.
