My iTunes mini player is not working..?

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro, no problems so far, except that the iTunes Mini Player is not working. After setting up iTunes Preferences and selecting in Advanced the Mini Player to stay on top of all other windows, nothing happens, no Mini Player on the display with or without other Apps open windows. It's a ghost command. Is there any and hidden trick maybe that can help solve this riddle...???

Thanks in advance for any hint or reply.

Hello MRmmH,

I see that you're having an issue when trying to use the iTunes Mini Player on your MacBook Pro, and it does not stay on top of other apps that are open. I'd be happy to help.

Let's go through your settings again and just double check them. Go to iTunes > Window > and make sure MiniPlayer is checked there. If it is, then go to iTunes > Preferences > Advanced and uncheck "keep MiniPlayer on top of all other windows" and then restart your MacBook. After restarting, go back to your advanced settings and check the box again and test.

Let me know how this goes.

Cheers!

Dear Jameson,

Thanks a lot for your quick reply and support. It worked indeed but in fact I have to click on the the Mini Player Album Icon to open it and stay on top of all windows, I thought it comes up automatically once I open another another App window. Moreover when I open a full screen window in another App, the Mini Player disappears and doesn't stay on top... Is this normal..??

Thanks in advance for any additional information and support.
