Cellular update failed

My iphone is not recognizing the cellular network all of a sudden. As soon as I updated my iOS to 12.4.1, I started facing issues like Freezing Settings and Other apps but it was all fine until my phone got restarted itself and showed an error message mentioned in the picture.

I have tried almost everything from suggestions like turn off iphone, remove sim, turn iphone back on, insert sim. Tried restarting it and removed the sim couple of times without any progress.

There's no option to update cellular network because Network option in settings can not be changed. Screenshot attached below.

Carrier option is still showing the name of my network provider but I can neither be selected nor changed. Although, the main issue seems to be with the modem firmware as it is completely blank. Screenshot attached

My job required me stay on top of all my contact numbers and iPhones are suppose to be work as a phone. In last 30 days, migrating to iOS 12 worked like a curse. Facing setbacks like "iMessages not activating" and "No Service" without knowing any proper feedback/solution from Apple support showed their failure of dealing with what's important and it is nothing but annoying/irritating for the Fools (People/Consumers) like us.

Please if anyone can help me resolve this issue and share their experience. It will be really very good!!!

Regards,

Angry Legacy User!!!!!

Thank you Lawrence for your quick response. I will try to restore my phone from iTunes to see if that works. I wish and pray that it’ll work.

Apple called in some iPhone 7’s for free service. Some models are facing this issue and mine A1660 was one of em.

But I think I am just having one of those days where nothing works in favor of you. Unfortunately, I am in Pakistan and there’s no apple support/authorize retail available here who can take my phone in for service. 😣

But I will take my chances by restoring my phone back and will eventually wait for iOS 13 to see if the magic works.

Thank you sberman for your quick response. I am one of the very unlucky few to have A1660 model but I’m not sure if this applies to the users in Pakistan.

There’s no authorized apple service provider/technical support available here. I will try to call them tomorrow to see if I have any other options available to get it done.

Thanks for the help.
