iPhone 11 pro and Display Zoom

Same with me, just brought home 11 Pro and it does not have the Display Zoom feature that I want. I want the icons to appear larger, I do not want to have to temporarily zoom with three-finger process.

I weighed for a long time, which 11 to go with and was concerned that the regular 11 Pro was smaller than the 11; in fact about the same size as my former 6 (although the 6 had top/bottom borders). I thought the 11 Pro Max would have been overkill, not to mention, a bit to cumbersome to handle in my (small) hands.

Hmm....may have to return this phone. So disappointing, Apple.

Just bought the new iPhone 11 PRO. This model DOES NOT HAVE THE DISPLAY ZOOM FEATURE That is available on other models. One CANNOT zoom the display to make the icons bigger. This is a real disappointment for us visually impaired folks. Apple why, in the world, did you not include this feature? It is, however, included on the iPhone 11 and 11 MAX. What happened? Please put in a fix and include DISPLAY ZOOM ON THE II PRO. PLEASE!

As a 65 yr old female I purchased iPhone 11 pro as my XS max was too large - how disappointing that there’s no view/zoom option. The XS max was on the upgrade programme so I upgraded that to the 11 pro max which has this feature but is still too big. Decided to keep the smaller version as an expensive spare but it will eventually replace my husband’s iPhone 7.

I will stick with the max in future due to the zoom feature.

I just submitted a feedback on this very issue. I just purchased this phone yesterday and found this out today. I am now considering returning it. I can't believe that all but one model of iPhones, past and present, would not have this feature when it is literally the second most expensive iPhone on the market today. Not acceptable.

I just got my phone 11pro and same issue. Always loved all my new IPhone’s over the years. But this 11 pro with less features than my 7 is very disappointing.

How do you charge twice as much and cut out features of older models.

I just purchased the iPhone 11 yesterday. While the settings have the zoom feature, they did NOT change the size of the icons or keyboard. It only changed all other features. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least. I had others look at the phone as well, to confirm no changes in size. What gives??

Just setting up my newly purchased iphone 11 pro and find myself very disappointed to find there is no Display Zoom feature.

Apple really must rectify this problem asap. This feature is a must for those of us with fading eyesight, especially on a top end model iphone. "JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH APPLE"

I liked my iPhone 6 better than this 11 Pro. I had it four months now and thought would like it eventually. Still no zoom feature on it. Crazy 1150 dollar phone and less features than my old one. First time disappointed in 10 years of I phone use. I like the button better also than swiping.

Yes, I returned my 11 Pro for an 11. The only reason was that the 11 Pro lacked display zoom. It does seem odd that Apple would disable this very useful feature on the smallest 11 which would benefit from it the most. Reading these posts, people have been mentioning this lack since last fall so I doubt Apple will make a change. I do like my 11 a lot and it saved me a few hundred, so in the end I was happy. But the size of the 11 Pro was perfect.

It appears that Apple will be rectifying this with iOS 14. I found a 9to5Mac.com article from July that noticed beta 3 has brought Display Zoom to 5.8” screens. They believe this is due to the new, smaller 5.4” version of the iPhone 12 coming out this fall.

So looks like good news once iOS 14 lands in the next month or two!!

Display zoom is back on the 11 pro after the iOS 14 update. Glad to see that other folks thought of updating this thread, too. Much happier now that I can turn off the accessibility zoom function :)

I to find this "missing" feature an irritant, spoiling what could be a good phone, dare I say my 6S is a better phone(:

I can confirm that Display Zoom has magically appeared on my iPhone Xs thanks to iOS 14.

Without having one in hand its impossible to answer conclusively.

But its pretty likely only the Max models will have the Display Zoom feature.
