My wife bought me a Apple Watch series 3 on Facebook. Unfortunately the watch is still attached to the previous owners iCloud account. We have no way of contacting the previous owner, it there anything that can be done or did she waste her money

If yo can't contact the previous owner and have them remove it from their account, the watch is useless.
