iPad is glitch

My iPad has been pushing random things on its own for the past 2 days ever time I’m watching something it would take me back or either skip I have power of ,re-set and restarted an nothing is working I’m trying to put in my password and it’s pushing random things again an is locking me out an Im getting annoying of trying I’m going to get locked out if I try again what can I possibly do?

Why is my iphone selecting random apps/buttons on its own and locking me out of my phone? Why is my iphone selecting random apps/buttons on its own and locking me out of my phone? My phone has been acting really strange. It's been randomly scrolling and selecting apps and clicking random keys when I try to message someone. Half of the time I can't even open my phone because it won't let me slide up to open it. The same would happen when I tried to restart it, it wouldn't let me slide the power off switch. I'm not sure if the touch screen is broken or if it's some type of virus.

sounds like a periodic defect touch layer

I would bring it in for service if it was me
