Damaged file message when installing javaforosx

My MacBook Pro has OS software fully updated.

I'm trying to run Adobe CS 5 and got a message I needed Javaforosx (Java 6 SE runtime) so I downloaded from Apple site. When I tried to install I get a message that the file is corrupted and should be trashed. Can anyone suggest a work around?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

It may be worth trying the suggestion of BDAqua to get it working on Mojave but absolutely you will not be able to do this with macOS Catalina due out next month.

You therefore need to consider updating your Adobe Creative Suite software which is very, very old and will not work with Catalina.

Of course you are not forced to upgrade to Catalina so that is another option.
