Can't turn off annoying new mail sound I have a new MacBook Air running the current version of Monterey. No matter what I do I can't turn off the sound when I get a new email. Even with notifications for mail turned off in the notification center, and sounds for new mail set to none in email preferences, I still get an annoying bonk type sound. If I try and change the new mail sound in mail preferences, it doesn't change - I still get this "bonk" kind of sound. It's very annoying. Any ideas?

MacBook air 2022 message sound effects (help please:))) I love the MacBook Air but I have been having some trouble with trying to mute the "delivered" sound on iMessage and ALL notification sounds on mail. I have tried going into settings and turning off the notification sounds but that didn't help me with the sound effects. I have been looking through my settings and I cannot seem to find the right buttons. I leave for school soon and I do not want any sound coming from my computer, but I would like to still see my notifications. Please help!!! Thank you so much:)

No sound notifications for Mail.app As the title says, I am not getting any mail sound notifications any more, running latest Ventura on a M2 MacBook Air. If you look at the screenshot below there is no option for Sound notifications in Mail. I created a new test user account on my Mac and when I do this I see the option for Mail sound notifications. Not looking for a solution where I have remove and re-add my account. Anyone else seen this and no of a potential fix? Thanks!
