Sign out of your Apple ID, then sign in again:
And make sure after this you have sync library turned on
I am having the same problem. I have tired your instructions above and it does not work. Please help me!
Sign out of iCloud in the settings. After that go to apple music and it will say do you want to start your free trial click no. Then go to account and log in. Should work and i’m in the IPhone 11.
I have also tried Everything others have suggested and nothing is working. I still get a pop up and have nowhere to sync library. They need to fix this issue.

This is not working, its saying the same thing
If you are signed into iCloud on another device delete it. That worked for me Settings< Apple ID < devices. Hope it works for you too

I restarted my phone and it’s working fine now
this worked! I logged out of my Apple ID after this, restarted my phone, signed back in and boom! sweet sweet music
What do you mean with that, I do not see the option in the Settings to unsubscribe from Music.

You have to reset all settings not the phone just settings go to
>General
>Reset
>Reset all Sertings

lol I had this issue, but when I started reading into it on this page it fixed itself. Siri be waitin till I get agitated to fix my problems for me smh
