Hello,
This is not Apple’s doing. The application’s publisher is the one who makes the decision to release or pull their application from the App Store or any other application market. The only thing you can do at this point is to email their support.
Hello,

Contact the developer. If they pulled their App only they can put it back. Apple cannot distribute content unless the developers who own that content wish them to.
If the developer is unwilling to abide by Apple’s rules for data collection and informed user consent, then their App will not be allowed to be sold via the App Store. The developer can always alter their App to abide by Apple’s privacy requirements and re-submit it. But it is not Apple’s issue, it is the developers issue. Apple takes things like data collection and privacy concerns seriously.
The requirements for apps are spelled out in several developers docs - e.g. https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/#legal A developers Failure or refusal to follow those rules will get an app rejected from the App Store. Apple is not obligated or required to market anyone’s product in their App Store if it violates their principles and policy on privacy rights.
You are pleading to the wrong crowd here.
These are user to user Apple product technical support communities.
You need to contact the developer of this app and plead your case with them and tell them to comply with Apple's iOS App Store rules.
This is how the app got banned from both the Google Play Store and the Apple iOS App Store in the first place.
Best of Luck to You!
I don't think there were any concerns about privacy, but about copyright. I'm certainly no expert on copyright law, but I don't believe it is a violation since they always provide attribution and a link to the original site. Copy Me That does not even provide the actual content. It is simply a way to store recipes that a person finds online. There are Apple supported apps like Paprika and even Evernote that allow people to save content they find on the internet. Since they are simply a way to save recipes that one finds on their own (they don't provide recipes) and they force a link and attribution back to the original site, I don't see how they would be in violation. Google has restored the app.
I wrote to the app developer and here’s the reply. This worked for me!
..................
The app has, for now, been removed from Apple's App Store. We hope to have it back soon. However, you can still use Copy Me That, even without the app, including copying recipes to your recipe box. If you still have your old Apple device with the app, then you can also copy the app to your new device. There's info on how to do all that herewww.copymethat.com/appremovalinfo/. Let me know if you have any questions.
They have been removed from Google Play as well. If you would like the app back, then the app developer has to do this.
I do see that on their FaceBook page they are instructing their users to call Apple to make a complaint. This is NOT going to get the application back. It is only up to the App Developer. They need to follow policies.
As this as been answered several times already, you filing a complaint, posting in here or contacting Apple will have zero affect on the app coming back. Only the developer can handle this as they need to follow the guidelines and work with Apple if wanting to continue having their app available to Apple users.
The fact that the developer is referring their users to contact Apple and that there are x amount holding back the process says A LOT about them.
I will reiterate, ONLY the app developer has control of their app being available in the App Store.
Hello,
If the publisher of the application has removed their application from sale then there is nothing you can do to get it back. If you had purchased the application then you can access your purchased applications in App Store -> Tap your account -> Purchases.
No one here works for Apple.
We are all volunteer users here.
No one here can do anything.
This is all Apple's playpen, Apple’s rules.
If the developer of this app is NOT in compliance or in violation with Apple’s app requirements, then Apple isn’t allowing the app into its App Store.
This is all on the app developer to fix and rectify.
Anything you post about this in this community is here say.
No one here has any idea of what is really going on with this app and why Apple, possibly, removed the app from its App Store and per the terms of use of these Apple technical support communities, speculative discussions are NOT allowed.
Be disappointed with the developer and vent to them. They are the ones who violated their agreement.
It should tell you a lot about an app developer as well when they send out a mass email to subscribers to call and chat Apple Support numerous times to issue a complaint. They absolutely know this is not going to do anything and what they are in violation of. So much so that Google Play nixed them too.
For those missing the app, there are other similar apps available to use ...
What google does or does not do with their Play Store has nothing to do with Apple. Why should it? Apple will allow the app back if or when they feel whatever violation caused its removal has been addressed. Nobody here will know anything about that until it happens. We don’t have inside info on internal Apple company decisions.
Apple isn't here and no direct, cognizant Apple employees or teams read or participate in these, largely, Apple product user to user technical support communities.
You are pleading to no one from Apple here.
Until this app meets Apple's rules and guidelines, Apple will continue to ban it from the iOS App Store.
It is up to app developers to comply with Apple's App Store policies, NOT the other way around.
Also, there is nothing we can do here, either as this is, largely, as user to user Apple product technical support community.
We are all just product users here, just like you.
We have NO control over what Apple does or what other third party app developers do.
Sorry.
An Apple support person would not mention that. Again, if you would like the application back, it is up to the developer and the developer only.
They will need to follow policy.
An Apple supervisor will not be able to bring the app back. Only the app developer themselves period.
This is actually inaccurate. The developer of this app emailed it's users saying this was Apple's decision based on some faulty information. The people who enjoy using it, such as myself, are very frustrated and would like it back. The developer has made it clear that they are contacting Apple to reverse this decision.
