I found a workaround until Apple corrects the bug.

Untinstall the app and reinstall it.

Reopen the app and when the app asks you if you want to save/register the password, answer yes. The app will crash again but next time you open it, it won’t.

The bug seems to be in the password handling by the app.

Finally! The suggestion by Apple support worked. It took a few times of reset, restarting the phones and AirPort Extreme. I had an airport express in bridge mode that prevented the restart from working. I took it offline, restarted it only after I got the extreme alone running. Then password reset ok. A note too remember...there could be a separate password for the physical airport router that differs from the network password! Don’t forget this. I got the message again that pass is incorrect. I used the device pass and all is well. Then I downloaded airport utility and it correctly displays wired and wi fi connections correctly and remembers the pass and auto joins perf!

Ever since I have upgraded to iOS 13 and all upgraded all my other devices I now cannot use the Airport Utility App on my iPad (13.1.2) or iPhone Xs (13.1.2)

Every time I go to log into my airport extreme via the apple airport utility app I put the password in and the app closes down straight away on both devices.

I have called apple support and they have said that the airport utility app from the App Store is not compatible with the new iOS updates. and its a software issue.

Surly apple should have checked there own apple apps worked on the new iOS software before anything else.

I used to have six and am now down to just two. I have migrated to Ubiquiti UniFi hardware as Apple has gotten out of the networking hardware business.

The AirPort Utility relies on both Bonjour (mDNS) and IPv6 to discover the base stations. You may want to double-check your IPv6 settings on each of your base stations. They should be set to: IPv6 Link-local only mode as a minimum. I don't believe that you can adjust IPv6 settings on an iPhone. At least, I can't on my iPhone SE.

Hi problem persist even after app deletion and reinstalled... with both devices iPhoneX and iPad both with latest iOS/iPadOS.

the only way to manage it is with MacBook Pro application otherwise I’m stucked.

please we need a workaround or solution since different person are still using Apple devices...

I have tried also to connect just 1 Apple time capsule and to connect to it but without success.

current network: 1 Apple express, 1 Apple time capsule, 1 Apple extreme for a total of 15 devices connected.
