Airport Utility not working on IOS 13

Update to ios 13.1(iphone xr)and it still not work(Time capsule and express)and crash...

We made for you Apple Arcade and tv+,but broke Airport utility,and now you couldn’t connect to internet! WTF Apple?!What’s wrong with you!

Sorry to be dense, but what do you mean by “the iOS 13 version 1.3.5 (135.24)” ... I’m looking at AirPort Utility in the App Store app right now and it says the latest version is 1.3.5 released 1 year ago. I also am having the same problem as Hamish, upon entering password in AirPort Utility, the app crashes.

Bug reported for this issue:

Apple support community cannot do anything about this issue as I keep seeing people saying delete this and try that. It’s obviously not working for a lot of people and Apple need to update the their app.

Same here; IOS 13.1.2 did not solved the problem. The app starts up, but after entering your login and password, the app crashes... another re-install does NOT works. But luckily the app still works on windows....

Not totally true. I have same configuration minus an ethernet connection to the Airport Express running as a bridge or network extender. My desktop Airport utility runs fine, but my iPhone version on a new iPhone 11 Pro and latest iOS 13 bombs when you are asked for the network password. Help!

I have a new iPhone 10Xs and new iPad Pro. Can not access the Airport utility with either one. The app opens, but when I open to see the airport info, it asks for password. I enter password, then the app closes immediately, with no warnings or notices. Both the iPhone and iPad do the same thing. My Mac mini running latest OS, is able to enter the airport utility with no problem. Do I need to change passwords or reboot? What is the solution?

No luck. There is no wi fi after the reset. It self restored the old settings. Perhaps a factory hard reset of AirPort Extreme and express then reconfig the network using airport on my Mac once it picks up the generic network

Followed your instructions step by step, and even after logging in to the WiFi network it’s a No go.

The intestine thing is my other phone is running iOS 12.4 and the Airport Utility App works just fine!!

So even there is improvements in IOS13, im going to wait a while before I will be updating my other phone.

Nope. No. The instructions do not work. And, alternatively, it will be a nightmare if I’d have to reset every AirPort device (I have two Extreme and two Express), since Apple does not allow to change the channels except in the Base Station. When there’s a blackout or even I’d I have to reset the IP modem when the internet comes back and sometimes the channels of the repeaters change and I have to disconnect and connect the base station and sometimes the devices until they are in the same channel.

Call Apple support, I did and they got me to airport support, and they filled in the missing link. There is no problem with the hardware or software. Apple is very thorough in there testing. Good luck!

Listen, I appreciate your help. I’ve followed your instructions four times already. Both reinstalling the AirPort Utility after connecting to the network and before connecting to the network. It hasn’t worked. I’ll call myself. Thanks again. You don’t need to respond anymore.

Yes,just crashes on open and enter a password.ios13.

Same exact problem here. The airport utility app opens for less than a second and crashes every time since iOS 13. Tried to restart as well as delete and reinstall without any success. Help Apple!
