iPhone 11 Pro front camera problem

Spoken to apple support, this is just how the camera is. if your camera is incredibly blurry in dark rooms or areas you need to take it to the apple store. that is the ONLY solution.

anyone else notices the box you type in on iMessage doesn’t respond to true tone or brightness anymore? mines bright white no matter what, apple are investigating it for me but i figures i’d ask

I tried calling apple support and they basically said it wasn’t a flaw on their end since the camera works fine but not in third party apps... they said maybe Snapchat has to update stuff. I tried contacting Snapchat but nothing. It’s so infuriating when you buy a camera for photo quality and something doesn’t work properly . Third party or not it’s all connected.

My phone has already been updated and when I called they ran diagnostics on my phone and told me that nothing is wrong with it. Then told me to contact Snapchat as thats where the photos are going blurry. The fact no one from apple has even responded to us on this thread is brutal

The problem is the Snapchat app and not the iPhone.

Exactly the same problem... Apple gave me a new one... problem still here.

I think it can be fixed with a software-update, bc when making a video in (for example) whatsapp, your face is less blurry.

hmm that's weird their support told me it's most likely software related and that i should wait for an update/bug fix

Same problem discovered after just 30 minutes.

I changes 2 iPhones at Day One... Nothing, the problem is a still there:

frontal videos in low light have a lower quality than an iPhone 6.... Your face become like a mask of wax and the blacks are all heavily pixelled.

I am really really really upset about it.

This is the same problem i am having on my 11. Whenever i make a social media video using the front camera before i even film it starts skipping/lagging. Also the quality gets distorted. Also i use filmic pro and when recording slow motion and playing it back the camera glitches as well. Hoping the new update fixes some of these issues because i really love the phone.

hello! i recently got the iphone 11 and i have the same issues. like the X, i’ve noticed that the snapchat front camera seems to have issues with making you look natural. it looks really grainy and almost as if a filter was placed on it before you even use a filter.

My Snapchat front camera does the same thing on the same type of phone. My brother got the same exact one and his snapchat front camera is perfectly fine. My zoom lags and isn’t as smooth as his. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted snap and then reuploaded it. My zoom is still ugly. But my brothers is perfectly fine.

This problem has been fixed in iOS 13.1 :)

I have the same issue. I restarted my phone, as well as checked for updates.
