iPhone 11 Pro front camera problem

sounds like you got a defective one re front camera.

One more proof that the issue is caused by third party software and not iOS.

Don't use Snapchat.

so today i got the new iphone 11 and i’ve been experiencing some issues regrading the front facing camera on snapchat , instagram and tiktok. every time i would zoom in the camera would tend to glitch and effect the video i would make and send to my friends . please help we need this fixed thank you!

I Also have the same problem (11 Pro Max) but i also have it with WhatsApp and Telegram so basically in every app in which you can zoom with the front cam. I Do have a question tho. someone told me that you could zoom in the normal camera app and that it doesn't lag there but as far as i know and even tried, you can't zoom. Am i r**arded or was he just chatting sh**. ?

I hope so because I’ve restarted my phone, updated to IOS 13.1 and still the front camera sucks on any social media platforms smh. I don’t want to not like the phone because of this problem, but it is a big problem.

I agree. I was so disappointed as I was really looking forward to getting this phone. I bought the Pro Max, and returned it once I saw the poor quality of the front camera photos. Hopefully they will come out with a fix.

I’ve been trying to tell the workers in Apple that the 11MAX pro are disgusting in instagram and Snapchat chat I will keep abusing my 2 week open box policy and rerun the phone until it’s fixed if not I’m getting that money back 😂

This exact thing is happening to me with my iPhone 11 pro max. Especially when going into Snapchat looks like it’s going to be a great picture and then once I take it it’s super blurry and makes me look pale and yellow . I really hope this bug is fixed soon cause the front camera is worse then my much much older phones :(

I am livid over this. People are responding back to my snapchat and instagram stories saying things like "i thought you got the 11?" and I have to say "I did! It's just total crap!". They seriously need to fix this soon or I'm taking the **** phone back. My iPhone 7 was better than this bs

I want to cry. I miss my iphone 8 plus, the quality of the front camera is AWFUL. It's not just on snapchat or instagram either, it's also on the camera app itself on my iphone. Unless I have really REALLY good lighting, I'm getting a super blurred android looking camera.

Someone please tell me that an IOS update is going to fix this.

Mines also in my regular camera! But Snapchat quality is worse. I wanna cry also. I’m just so disappointed. I just hope they fix this but when I called apple support they told me the haven’t heard of this issue🙄

YES THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME TOOO I tried everything reinstalling the app deleting and still it does the same this I’ve been looking everywhere for answers the front video on snap almost looks cartoonish like an android quality video!

Another problem with the selfiecamera (maybe it’s mentioned before)

when switching from photoselfie mode to videoselfie mode, my face looks like there is a sort of (really dark) filter. I found out that switching to a lower resolution and fps helps, but i bought this phone for the 4K 60 fps... even on the selfiecamera.

why is this? And is this is software bug?

Hey @apple are you going to do anything about this???? I thought I was unlucky enough to get a malfunctioned phone and have to jump through hoops to get this dealt with. After chatting with support 3 times, I’m going in to an authorized Apple repair store so they can “examine and repair” my phone... clearly it’s not an issue with my unlucky phone. Which annoying operates like an android.. Seems like it’s an issue ALL AROUND. This is just unacceptable. One of the main selling points was the camera and the quality is HORRENDOUS. Seriously going to just “downgrade” -which ironically and sadly is an actual UPGRADE- back to my iPhone 8+. Absolutely ridiculous.
