Playlist Art on iPhone after IOS 13

The fix is re-creating the playlist art. Take a copy of a cover of one of the tracks. Then double click on the main playlist art and replace it with the art you just saved. Now if you have hundreds of playlists this will be a pain but i fixed my art for 60 lists in an hour or so. Now mine is fine. No issues. Yes Apple should fix it but at the moment this is a workaround.

Thanks for the info that the new IOS 13.3.1 sort out the problem. But IO13 has been so buggy in some of the basic apps that I am now worried that there will be something else going wrong. I will wait a week.

I can also report with the 13.3.1 update did fix my iTunes album artwork on my phone. finally. I hope that apple in the future will do a better job at testing before releasing ios 14. this was a problem for what, 4 almost 5 months. steve jobs is rolling over in his grave. come on apple get it together. if you don't I have a feeling u will start to lose customers. you were always the gold standard lets get back there.

I did the update last night, my cover art was still jacked for certain albums and playlists still.....did a resync on my iTunes and still no change

I see most of you got resolved by just doing the update, but is anybody in my boat and have to do an extra step to resolve this issue ?

OMG, your right I just ran the update for 13.3.1 and all album art on the folders corrected itself, I didn't have to remove any songs and put them back either. Guess I jumped the gun on that one, but I also noticed others mention that it didn't work for them, unfortunate I guess. They never did fix my issues with iTunes on my old iphone 7, it would literally take me 5-6 hours to put one song on that phone because it would sit there and say "copying diagnostic information" forever! I guess I still have a little animosity form that. Peace out!

iOS 13.4.1 - iPhone 11 Pro Max

Same problem as reported by others here. Album cover artwork is mis-mapped to songs, artists, and albums.

Synced with iTunes on Windows 10 PC.

Clearly something is amiss deep in the software. Apple, please resolve this. I'm hoping that by posting this I'll be notified when there is a resolution.

I'm having the same issue on iPhone 11 with the latest iOS release (13.5). It just started in the past few days. Songs with the wrong cover art, playlists with the wrong cover art, etc. I tried removing all music and re-adding it, but the issue remained (it fixed some of the songs/playlists that had the wrong cover art, but then other songs/playlists had the wrong cover art).

I won’t cool it. My phone was backed up both in the cloud and to my computer. Which by the way, I took with me. You have no idea what happened so don’t try to speak to it. Apple screwed up.

Same thing here. I hope that enough people will report this to Apple. I posted a similar comment which was removed from Apple with the reason that my comment was "not constructive" :-)

My recently added playlist has never had playlist art, so it was never affected, but the playlist art still changes to random album covers

As I don't use MacOS but Windows 10, updating to Catalina is not an option for me. 😉

What if I added artwork that I created because there was none when I added music? Will it replace mine with artwork from Apple as it syncs? This is not making me very comfortable.

It just struck me that iOS 13 and the recycling of playlist album art for my first 13 playlists... I'm not a superstitious person but, the number "13" seems to be a recurring theme here.
