Keyboard is not working

My Macbook Retuna Pro's internal keyboard and touchpad have suddenly stopped working. Only power button seems to be working. I am working with an external keyboard and mouse now.


The background lights are working, so I don't think there is any physical issue. Please help.

If both the Keyboard and Trackpad stopped working at the same time you most likely have a hardware issue. You will need to take the laptop to Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined and repaired.
