Remove bedtime from alarm section iOS 13

Since the iOS 13 update, under my alarms section there is now a bedtime alarm permanently there that can’t be deleted. I’ve turned off all the functions but it’s still sitting in my alarms ahead of all my actual alarms that I use.

How do I remove this from my alarms section now with iOS 13?

There's a much simpler way. Tap Change next to the unwanted WakeUp alarm. Scroll all the way down (yep, there's more hidden down there). Choose Edit Sleep Schedule. This takes you to settings in the Health App. Toggle Sleep Schedule to Off.

Agreed that this is super annoying. I accidentally set up a Bedtime when I was trying to set up a radio - alarm clock connection (that didn't work either BTW). And now I can't get rid of Bedtime! I just want it to go back to the way it was 5 minutes ago! So I am resetting all my settings. I will have to set everything back up again, but it is worth it to get rid of this feature which I could turn ON but can't turn OFF!

Yes I’m talking about removing the option completely. It’s funny because my wife’s iPhone 11 doesn’t have it?
this should not be put as solved

The only person who can mark a post as "Solved" is the original poster. And, it was the correct solution before iOS 14 was released. You'll note the solution is a year old. When sleep tracking was added in iOS 14, that changed.

Has your wife updated her phone to iOS 14? If she hasn't and has never set up Bedtime, she won't see it. I don't know what happens if you've never set it up and update to iOS 14.

Thanks! That was mostly to satisfy my own curiosity. However, I'm sure other people who never set it up in iOS 13 will not be happy about it appearing in iOS 14 and, at least I'll be able to say that it was a change Apple made and feedback is about the only thing to be done.

Best of luck.

It does not appear that alarm is enabled in a base iOS14 install. You configure now in Health. It's there but not active.

Like an API. Until the state enables it by rem... oops... I've said too much. They're listening.

If you tap change, it takes you to Health. Where you can bail.
