Does Apple still do photo books?

No, Apple does no longer offer print services for photo books, cards, or calendars.

Photos now has a new interface, so we can create print products using third party services. This is a bit more limited than the old photo books. We usually need an internet connection and create the book online, and not all third party project extensions allow us to save the finished project as a PDF file.
