Alarms and apps in watchos 6

Update my XR to iOS 13 and my watch 4 to watchOS 6. Now my alarms aren’t vibrating on my watch anymore and no new apps will install. I tried restarting first, but that didn’t do anything. Then I unpaired and repaired but now I have half a dozen apps that the watch thinks are new and none of them will install. Also I’ve checked the vibration setting on the watch and on the alarms. I’ve created new alarms with vibration setting. If I create an alarm on the watch, it will vibrate, but nothing on the phone makes the watch vibrate.
