iPhone 11 will not charge on wireless charging

I just got two different wireless charging pads and my brand new iPhone 11 will not charge. I did a restart on the phone and boom, it is charging. I hope that apple gets this fixed soon because there are to many issues.

I updated to iOS 13.3.1 yesterday and now my iPhone 11 is charging wirelessly again.

Same charger. It looks like a software issue was fixed in this release, since

multiple reboots did not fix the problem previously. In any case, so far so good.

Is the phone by any chance in a case with metal on the back of the case? If it is the case would be interfering with wireless charging. If it is not cased and it won't charge wireless, take it back to Apple for evaluation.

Anker A2305 wireless charging pad, iPhone 11, iOS 13.5.1. Wireless charging stopped working overnight. Tried different charger pad, different cable, outlet, removed case, etc. with no luck. Finally reset iPhone per suggestion somewhere in this thread and it now charges on either Anker Qi pad.

Same thing happened with me. New iPhone 11, out of the box wouldn’t charge on my new charging pad. Resetting Network Settings instantly fixed the issue.

I had the same problem with my 11pro and I just turned it off and placed it on the charger and it automatically turned on and began charging.

I’m new to the Apple support community, however I have owned dozens of Apple IPhones over the years. I bought my son a iPhone 11 recently, and we had the same problem with the iPhone not charging wirelessly. I purchased the new Mophie Dual Wireless Charger, and his iPhone still wouldn’t wirelessly charge. I tried several high quality 10watt QI wireless chargers, and nothing worked.

So, when I was shopping the accessories isle at my local Best Buy, I noticed an Insignia 10watt QI wireless charger for $19.99. As a last “Hail Mary”, I bought it and brought it home. After unpacking it and setting it up, I set my son’s iPhone 11 down on this wireless charger, AND IT WORKED!!! I tried my iPhone 11 Pro Max and had no problems either. We waited a day to see if it still worked the next day, and it still does!!!

I hope this solution works for other as Apple Support had zero solutions for me prior.

I have the same problem with my iPhone XR since I updated to IOS 13.4.1 2 days ago. I just did a restart and it seems to have fixed the problem, but looking at everyone else's issues, I'm not confident the problem will stay fixed.

Rebooting only works for a short period of time, anywhere from a day to 2 weeks. My wife's iPhone 11 (green) passes all diagnostics at the Apple store, they gave her a new phone. It worked great for 2 weeks then had the issue again. We're still trying to get it resolved.

Meanwhile my red iPhone 11 hasn't had a minute of trouble. Both phones bought in November.

There are some people with this issue. Neither of our iPhones (11 and 11 Pro Max) have any issue with wireless charging.

Most people report that simply rebooting your iPhone fixes this.

This continuously happens every few weeks. A restart fixes it - but it would be nice to have a solid fix permanently.

at night I shouldn’t have to think twice If it’s charging or not.

Actually I called and Apple said that they have had several recent calls and added mine to the list. Engineering is investigating and they might release a update in the future since they are having so many calls. You can't restart your phone each time you want to put it on the charger.

I am having the same issue with my brand new iphone 11. I tried two different wireless charging pads on my Iphone X and it works on both. But when I try it on the iphone 11 nothing. I restarted, updated and did everything. Nothing is working.

Restarting helped for a little while. Then, it stopped working again. I took the case off my phone and tried two different (new) wireless chargers. No luck.

It charged on the wireless charger for a few days after I got the new phone and now will not.
